Crisis Intervention

At Arms Reach OMHC, our Crisis Intervention services provide immediate, short-term support to individuals experiencing acute emotional or behavioral distress. We understand that mental health crises can feel overwhelming, urgent, and destabilizing—and our trained clinicians are here to help restore safety, stability, and support. Crisis Intervention services are designed to assess risk, de-escalate intense emotional situations, and develop a clear plan to promote safety and continued care. Our licensed professionals provide compassionate, trauma-informed support while helping individuals regain control and connect to ongoing treatment and community resources.

• Immediate clinical assessment and risk evaluation

• Safety planning and stabilization support

• De-escalation and coping skill development

• Coordination with family members or support systems (when appropriate)

• Referrals to higher levels of care if needed

• Follow-up planning to ensure continuity of services
